I'm currently auctioning some art to pay for medical expenses. If you are interested, please check it out here.
I finally caved and made several things available as prints. If you see anything you would like to have a print of that is not currently enabled, please let me know.

I am currently offering various forms of art, as well as tremendous gratitude, to anyone who donates to my GoFundMe campaign. (I will also accept Paypal donations and add them manually. You will still get the rewards.) Today is the last day of the campaign, and the last day that I will be taking portrait commissions. After this, they will no longer be available at any price.

Feel free to browse my gallery for examples of my work, but here are some examples of the reward levels.

I'm Nik Sebastian, an autistic artist who works mainly in digital art, though I do pen and ink drawing as well and would like to create adult coloring books.

Unfortunately, the computer that I use to do my art died last week, leaving me unable to work on commissions or scan my drawings for the coloring books. I also can't access all the files stuck on my old drives.

Being autistic, I have difficulty working regular jobs, so I am doing what I can to earn money working on my own as an artist and writer. I am also currently working part-time as a software tester, but that's less than 20 hours per week and all of my paychecks go towards cost of living expenses, including medical expenses from earlier this year which weren't covered by Medicaid. I also rely on my digital art to cover those expenses.

I don't like to ask for something for nothing, though, so I am offering various forms of art, as well as tremendous gratitude, to anyone who donates to my GoFundMe campaign. (I will also accept Paypal donations and add them manually. You will still get the rewards.)

If you like my artwork, you may wish to consider sponsoring me so that I can keep painting. I'm now on Patreon, where you can sponsor me for as little as $1/month (that's only $12/year).

If you sponsor me at the $3/month level (only $36/year), you can request a portrait painted for you. Each month I will choose one from the requests and paint it. That's a chance to get a portrait valued at +-$200 painted for next to nothing. If you get in now while there's less competition, your chances are good that you'll get one!

I do commissions for digital portraits and cartoons. I also sell prints of my personal artwork. For samples, lots of detail, and plenty more, please see my website. If any questions are not answered there, just let me know!
I have declared November 2012 to be Nik's Painting Month. Inspired by all my friends doing NaNoWriMo, I found myself wishing there was something similar for art. Since there isn't, I'm making my own challenge. The challenge is to do a painting for every day in November. That seems about an equal challenge to 50,000 words.

The goal for NaNoWriMo is to write 50,000 words, not necessarily to have something ready-to-publish. People who complete the challenge will then go back and edit once the month is over. I will take a similar approach. I may or may not end up with 30 completed paintings at the end of the month, but my goal is to at least have 30 first drafts, which I can then take further later if I desire to do so.
